The Inemur
lid placer is designed to dispense, position and seal lids on filled
containers.
This lid
placer is for plastic containers.
The lid placer
is made up of the following parts:
-Lid hopper
-Lid elevator
-Lid
positioner drum
-Lid
discharge conveyor
-Lid sealer
Functioning:
The lids
are discharged manually into the hopper before the start-up of the machine. Then
the lids are transported to an elevator where they are lifted to the lid
positioner drum. The drum starts to turn and separate the lids and feeding them
down lid discharge conveyor. In this conveyor, the lids are filtered removing double
lids or lids that are upside down. These lids are rejected by means of a pneumatic
blower and returned the positioner drum. The lids that are correctly positioned
continue down the conveyor towards the lid sealer waiting for the passing of
the containers. The containers enter the sealer by means of a conveyor which
leads to a set of screws which lead the container along to pass under the lids
and these are compressed for secure sealing. There is a photocell at the end of
the conveyor which detects if there are containers that do not have a lid.
